Life As An Experiment

In many ways, everything in life is an experiment and a chance to learn. We don’t have to take ourselves so seriously all the time (me included!).

If all this Ayurveda stuff feels overwhelming, take the little piece that speaks to you and try it. REALLY try it. Be devoted.

I suggest giving a practice 40 days, as this is recommended by wise teachers, and has been proven by neuroscience (though it’s context dependent, and some rewiring can take shorter or longer timeframes).

After an earnest try, maybe that habit isn't for you. You let it go.

OH and sometimes, a certain practice is only necessary for this season of your life. It doesn’t have to be forever.

If you tried something for a while that felt really beneficial to you, but it's fallen off of your routines, and perhaps you suspect you could still use it: YOU DID NOT FAIL.

You can start fresh any day. Any day could be the day you decide to go for the thing that feels life changing to you, even if it’s a 1% life change.

Remember that it allllll adds up.

Part of the reason it's called a "practice" is because we're never perfect at it, we're always practicing.
