You Are Divine

I hope that you’re enjoying some good food and time with your family this week, and that it’s gone better than expected 😉.

I can’t help myself on this one, I just have to say it: I’m not a fan of Black Friday, which has creeped into at least an entire week.

What I hate about it is that people have to go work during times they ought to be getting a break and spending time with family, and that these "deals" often play on our scarcity mindset. Most of us in this country are lucky: we don’t really need any more material possessions.

Both Ayurveda and yoga teach that everything we need is right here. The key is shedding what is no longer necessary– all of our stories, traumas, dramas, and so-called “addictions” or habits that distract us from the present moment– so that we get in touch with who we really are, which is an expression of the divine.

God is around us, within us, and reflected in His/Her best creation: nature.

Mostly, I simply wanted to remind you today that you’re precious, one of a kind, we need your light, and you are loved beyond measure.
