Menopause is technically defined as one year post the last menstrual period, but it is really not a single event in time. It’s a huge life transformation– the transition from the archetype of fertile mother (whether we had children or not) to the wise crone. In this workshop, we’ll explore ancient Ayurvedic practices, including simple shifts in lifestyle, body care, and how we approach diet to keep us at our juiciest and help decrease or eliminate symptoms by addressing the root causes. We’ll also do some meditation and journaling to get in touch with how you can apply these practices during this sacred time. This transition phase can begin as early as mid to late 30s and last well into the 50s, however, anyone who is interested is welcome to join. There will be no asana (physical yoga practice) in this workshop.
